Affordable housing scheme

There are a number of housing schemes that are available to the service and ex-service community. In England, this includes affordable home ownership schemes like Homebuy or LIFT in Scotland.

LIFT stands for Low-cost initiative for first time buyers which are new supply shared equity properties which aim to help first time buyers, such as people living in social housing, people in the Armed Forces or veterans and people living in private rented accommodation or with relatives.
