Blue badge                          

The Blue Badge scheme allows cars carrying people who are registered blind or people who have severe walking difficulties to be parked near to shops, stations and other facilities.

You can apply for the badge from Dumfries and Galloway Council here. Blue Badges can be used in any car the badge holder is driving or is a passenger in. The badge is issued to the applicant as long as they meet the criteria and can be used in any vehicle they travel in.
