The achievements of staff from Dumfries and Galloway Housing Partnership (DGHP) have been recognised at an annual awards ceremony. The event took place at the Aston Hotel in Dumfries, saw certificates awarded to staff in recognition of their work by the chair of DGHP, Billy Lockhart. Chief Executive of DGHP, Zoe Forster, said: “This was an event to celebrate and recognise the achievements of our staff throughout the year and I must congratulate them all on their hard work in getting to this stage. “It is also an excellent opportunity for me to thank all the staff for their continued hard work which contributes to DGHP and our tenants. “For these members of staff to achieve professional qualifications and courses through their work is not only rewarding and motivating for them, but it also benefits DGHP, and in turn our tenants, as our staff are better placed to carry out their work. “This all helps the organisation move a step closer to our aim of become the best Registered Social Landlord (RSL) in Scotland.” DGHP Chair, Billy Lockhart, added: “These professional qualifications contribute to not only DGHP as an organisation, but also to the future careers of our staff. I congratulate them all in their achievements.” Awards were handed out for various achievements and courses including: ICS Communications; CIH Certificate in Housing Level 2 and CIH/CIOB Level 2 Maintenance as well as a Certificate in Internal Workplace Mediation and a City and Guilds Electrical Testing and Inspection Certificate. |
