Anti-slavery statement

Dumfries and Galloway Housing Partnership Limited is a Registered Social Landlord providing homes to approximately 10,400 tenants within Dumfries and Galloway.  As well as maintaining our existing portfolio of properties we build new high quality, affordable housing across the region.

DGHP recognises that there are very limited circumstances within its operations for slavery or human trafficking to occur.  DGHP takes a zero tolerance approach to Slavery and Human Trafficking.

Most of the services that DGHP provides are on an in-house basis and therefore we can be extremely confident that none of these services are provided through the product of slavery or human trafficking.

DGHP deals with high quality contractors and suppliers and many of these are part of regulated professions such as heating engineers, architects etc.  All contractors are required to submit insurance documentation, annual accounts, equality and diversity policies and health and safety documentation prior to them working for DGHP which allows DGHP to ensure that they are fully bona fide contractors prior to entering into a contract with them.  DGHP considers these professions to be very low risk in relation to slavery and human trafficking so takes no specific action in relation to these relationships.

All DGHP staff are made aware of the law surrounding Slavery and Human Trafficking and we will continue to monitor developments and changes in the law to ensure that everyone is kept abreast of these.
