How do I apply?

DGHP, Irvine Housing Association, Home Group and Cunninghame Housing Association operate a Common Housing Register here in Dumfries & Galloway.

This is a single computer-based waiting list which the partners use to register applicants for housing and they operate the same Common Allocation Policy for the allocation of their properties.

Applications for housing are open to people aged 16 and over. Anyone over the age of 60 may also apply for sheltered housing.

We aim to provide affordable and secure accommodation to those in housing need. You don't need to have a local connection to the area in order to qualify for housing

We are continuing to let homes as before, and continuing to prioritise letting homes to people most in need.

Following the easing in restrictions, mutual exchanges have resumed. If you are considering a mutual exchange application at this time or have any questions, please visit Homes4D&G.

If you are homeless, you should contact Dumfries and Galloway Council who will be able to provide you with assistance. Click homelessness advice for local authority contact details.
