Since coming together in 2003, DGHP has completed numerous regeneration and investment projects throughout Dumfries and Galloway.

Further development projects remain underway and future schemes are being progressed through research and development phases – with these ambitious plans supported by DGHP’s partnership with Wheatley Group, Scotland’s largest housing, care and property-management group.

You’ll find more information regarding DGHP’s Investment and Regeneration programme within this section.

Coronavirus situation –

As the Coronavirus crisis continues we’re doing everything we can to provide essential services to our communities while safeguarding the welfare and well-being of our customers and staff.

We are following all the latest government guidance on tackling Coronavirus and as a result we are providing a restricted range of services with many of our staff now working from home. This means work on some of our improvement projects has had to be delayed.

Any work that was due to begin but has not yet started will be postponed. If work has already started in, or around your home, our contractors will finish the work. All other projects that have already started will be put on hold.

The area will be made completely safe and left clean and tidy.

Please be assured our staff at DGHP are here for you and your family. Although home visits are suspended for all but emergencies, you can still contact us through our website and by email on or phone at Freephone 0800 011 3447.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us.
