Changes to my tenancy
It’s important to keep your tenancy details up to date.
Let us know about changes in who is staying with you, or in any personal circumstances which might impact on your tenancy. You can speak to your housing officer today or update your tenancy online.
Telling us about changes to your household
To ensure that your tenancy rights are protected it is very important to ensure that you advise DGHP of any changes to your household.
This includes telling us about anyone who has previously moved in with you who you haven’t already told us about, and when anyone moves into or out of your home in the future at the time they do so.
From November 2019, before you apply to add a joint tenant to your tenancy – or to assign your tenancy to someone else – you will need to have been listed as a tenant of the property for a minimum of 12 months.
If you are unsure about whether you have told us about anyone who has moved into your home let us know now.
To update us about your household information online, you can complete the form here. Any questions, please contact our Customer First Centre on freephone 0800 011 3447.
