An Amber warning for snow is now in place for parts of D&G. Please check conditions/forecasts before heading out/consider if your journey is necessary – especially if you are heading to through higher areas or to the east of the region.

Yellow warnings for wind, snow and ice are still in place for Dumfries and Galloway through until Wednesday February 12th.
Snow and strong winds are forecast for today (Monday) and Tuesday which may cause disruption to travel, especially over higher routes. Any standing water from the weekend could freeze with the drop in temperatures so please take care if out and about as surfaces may be slippery.
