Applying for housing

Looking to apply for a home? DGHP, Irvine Housing Association, Home Group and Cunninghame Housing Association operate a Common Housing Register here in Dumfries & Galloway.  You will find more information on how to apply for housing here.

Ending Your Tenancy

Although DGHP is now part of Wheatley Group, Scotland’s largest housing, care and property management group, DGHP will remain your landlord. If you’re looking to find out how to end your tenancy, including what to do following a death, you will find helpful advice here.

Mutual Exchanges

DGHP runs a mutual exchange scheme whereby you can apply to exchange your property.  If you are an existing tenant of DGHP or one of the Homes4D&G partner landlords and you want to move, one of the ways to do this is by swapping with another tenant who is living in a property belonging to DGHP or a partner landlord in Dumfries and Galloway. If you are interesting in pursuing a mutual exchange, click here for more information.
